Distinguished violinist and conductor Peter Manning has been associated with many of Britain’s great musical institutions including the Royal Opera, the London Philharmonic and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras and the Britten String Quartet. He’s formed a recital partnership with Renato Balsadonna, Chorus Director of the Royal Opera House, to present Schubert’s gloriously lyrical works for violin and piano.

Originally trained as a pianist, Renato Balsadonna is widely known as a conductor and chorus master, and has worked with many leading orchestras, opera companies and festivals.

Schubert Duo in A major Op.162
Schubert Fantasie Op.Posth.159

"Impeccable. It’s a virtuosic part, but in Manning’s hands it was unshowy, natural, even breezy at times"
