Peter Manning is recognised as one of Britain’s finest musicians at the leading edge of performance. He is an outstanding conductor. Peter is the Artistic Director and Conductor of Manning Camerata and is Music Director of the Mozart Kinderorchester, Salzburg. He was recently appointed as Guest Conductor for the Dallas Opera, Texas, USA and will make his conducting debut with the Malta Philharmonic in 2019.

Growing up in Manchester, ten-year-old Peter Manning made his debut at the Free Trade Hall, and won all the national junior competitions available to a string player, as well as appearing on television.
Like Jacqueline du Pré before him, Peter won the Competition Gold Medal and First Prize at the Royal Over-Seas League Competition.
